Archival Framing

Since moving to the Southwest I've become very aware of the sun's intensity. It seems to take very little time at all for the sun to completely fade bright colors and deteriorate brand new materials. These observations have lead me to appreciate the protection that a quality frame can offer.

To preserve my pieces to the fullest extent possible I have adhered to the following archival framing methods:

UV Protection

All of my paintings are hung behind UV Acrylic Glazing (OP-3) which deflects the harmful UV light that is damaging to artwork.

Acid Free Materials

Both the painting and framing materials that I use are acid-free. This measure prevents the artwork from yellowing over time.
